At Hormipresa we have an engineering department specialized in adapting and designing our structural system with the aim of implementing it in new single-family housing projects and multi-family buildings.
Our engineers and architects develop modular designs for manufacturing using BIM tools (Revit and Allplan).

Hormipresa has always been aware of the through the development of the latest innovations and advanced techniques at a European level beyond current energy regulations.
Respect for the environment has introduced the notion of Passivhaus. Currently, we have the ARCTICWALL system with high energy efficiency to respond to the new parameters required.
The differential value of our ARCTIC WALL system translates into an industrialized sandwich panel. The same panel brings together the structural function through a load-bearing wall, continuous insulation without thermal bridge and the façade’s concrete architectural finish. At HORMIPRESA we work with Grapheconcrete concrete, a new generation maintenance-free product with graphene, available in a white, pigmented or textured finish.

5. ADVANTAGES SYSTEM OF PRESTRESSED CONCRETE HOLLOW-CELL SLABS
“Alveolar slabs and diaphanous spaces”
To create diaphanous spaces in the interior, our structural system implements alveolar plates of prestressed concrete. We compress the concrete of the alveolar slabs with a 25cm edge, in order to reach a span of 10 meters (up to 6m in traditional construction).
If the project requires more meters of light, our alveolar plate system can be adapted by increasing the depth.

6. INDUSTRIALIZATION AT THE SERVICE OF ARCHITECTURE

During the drafting and execution of the project, the involvement of our engineers and architects allows us to design a building that adapts to the architect’s objectives. Our construction system is not a limitation to creativity, but a tool to carry it out.
The ideal is to be able to start collaborative development in the pre-project phase. However, we have carried out works with projects that already had a license.
7. QUALITY AND SPEED
Industrialization allows factory quality controls, avoiding the difficulties involved in “in situ” execution.
The final stage translates into quick assembly: only 10 days are needed to assemble and finish the structure.
